RakshaTag ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the information entrusted to us. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, processed, stored and protected when using the RakshaTag mobile application and its related services.

1. About RakshaTag

RakshaTag is a secure QR-based identification and management platform designed exclusively for authorized administrators. The mobile application is not intended for public use or self-registration.

Authorized administrators use the application to register QR Tags, associate them with individuals, and manage identification records.

Members of the public do not require the RakshaTag mobile application. When a RakshaTag QR code is scanned using any QR scanner, it opens a secure webpage displaying the information associated with that QR Tag.

2. Information We Collect

The RakshaTag platform may process the following information:

• Full Name
• Primary Contact Number
• Alternative Contact Number
• Current Address
• Permanent Address
• Blood Group
• QR Tag Identification Number
• Registration Date

All information is entered and maintained exclusively by authorized administrators. Individuals cannot create accounts or modify their own information through the RakshaTag mobile application.

3. Camera Permission

RakshaTag requests access to the device camera solely for scanning QR Codes during the registration process.

The application:

• Does not capture photographs.
• Does not record videos.
• Does not access the camera for any purpose other than QR Code scanning.

4. Purpose of Data Collection

The collected information is used only for:

• Registering RakshaTag QR Codes.
• Associating QR Codes with an individual's identification record.
• Displaying identification information when a QR Tag is scanned.
• Providing emergency identification assistance.
• Managing records through authorized administrators.
• Maintaining platform security and reliability.

5. Emergency Identification

RakshaTag is designed to assist during emergencies by allowing individuals who scan a registered QR Tag to access identification information associated with that QR Tag. This information may include contact numbers, addresses and blood group to assist emergency responders or authorized individuals.

6. Information Sharing

RakshaTag does not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Information may only be shared:

• With authorized administrators managing RakshaTag records.
• When required by applicable law.
• To protect the safety, security and integrity of the RakshaTag platform.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical and organizational security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

While we strive to protect all information, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Data Retention

Information is retained only as long as necessary to provide RakshaTag services or comply with legal obligations. Records may be updated or removed by authorized administrators when required.

9. Third-Party Services

RakshaTag does not use advertising services or third-party advertising SDKs.

The application currently does not use:

• Firebase Analytics
• Google Analytics
• Crashlytics
• Advertising SDKs

10. Children's Privacy

RakshaTag is intended for use only by authorized administrators and organizations. The application is not designed for use by children under the age of 13.

11. Your Rights

Depending upon applicable laws, individuals may request:

• Access to their personal information.
• Correction of inaccurate information.
• Deletion of information where legally permitted.

Requests should be submitted to the organization responsible for the registered RakshaTag.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page together with a revised Effective Date.
